NAMA sells Parnell St property for €25m

NAMA has sold Chapel House on Parnell St Dublin for around the €25m asking price.

The sale comprises the upper storeys with a floor area of 10,219sqm, some of it let out.

The purchaser Primark, which owns the Penneys clothing retail chain, already owns the ground floor retail store section of the property which fronts onto Mary St as well as the basement.

CBRE handled the sale for receiver Ken Fennell of Kavanagh Fennell and John Moran of Jones Lang LaSalle acted for the purchaser.

Liam Carroll had redeveloped the six storey property on the site of Penneys’ long-held Marys St store.
