Muzu takes its place at the top
DUBLIN start-up Muzu TV has made it on to an elite list of the Top 100 media innovators in the world and is overall winner in the digital publisher category.
Founded in 2007, Muzu has inked deals with the world's biggest record labels to bring music videos and concert clips together on one advertiser-funded online platform. The Irish company beat off thousands of rivals to be named on this year's AlwaysOn list of the Top 100 private media companies who've been most innovative.
"We're delighted to have received this accolade," said Muzu boss and founder Ciaran Bollard, who believes his site is "defining the landscape for the advertising-supported video model".
