Multinational Accenture announces 250 new jobs

Multinational company Accenture have announced 250 new jobs in Ireland.

The company which provides management consulting, technology services and outsourcing said they have 200 new positions for candidates with 'a range of experience' and 50 new positions for graduates.

Country managing director for Ireland Alastair Blair said the jobs will be located nationwide.

The positions will be filled by the end of August.

The recruitment drive is focused on candidates who offer technology, digital and analytical skills –across key areas including SAP, Oracle, cloud computing and, in particular, analytics as well as industry expertise - across areas including Financial Services, Communications, Media & Entertainment and the Food and Agricultural sector.

Speaking to RTE Radio One's Morning Ireland,  Mr Blair said the company have seen a 'huge increase in their digital and analytics work'.

"We are offering long-term careers and some very interesting jobs at Accenture," he said.

"I was based in London and I'm quite keen to get some of my colleagues back to Ireland too.

"There is a huge wealth of experience abroad we could bring home".
