It is the first time Hilton will use the fledgling brand in Ireland.
The four-star hotel has undergone a €7m refurbishment since Ms Baturina acquired the 138-bedroom property from NAMA last year for €22m.
The hotel opened in 1999 and was originally part of the late Hugh O'Regan's business empire. John Rocha designed the original interior, which has been revamped by Nikki O'Donnell Architects.
Patrick Fitzgibbon, a senior vice-president at Hilton Worldwide, said the chain was confident the DoubleTree brand would do well in Ireland.
Ms Baturina made her fortune in construction.
