More than one hundred foreign companies to bring 8,000 jobs to Ireland - IDA

More than one hundred foreign companies agreed to set up shop in Ireland in the first half of the year compared to 70 in the same the period last year, the IDA said today.
The new investment will create 8,000 jobs, the IDA said.
The news comes at a time when some economists are worried that job creation is slowing after rapid job creation over the past 18 months.
Intel, PayPal, Airbnb, Johnson & Johnson and Hollister were among the companies announcing jobs.
A total of 161,112 people work for companies which get IDA grants
