More than 100 new jobs to be created in Dublin and Limerick

OVER 100 new jobs are being created in Dublin and Limerick, it was announced today.
A total of 35 jobs will be created in Dublin by the establishment of new research and development team by software development company Misys.
The business develops software for the financial services industry and already employs over 100 people in Dublin at two software development centres, Misys International Banking and Sophis Technology.
Misys said 25 of the jobs are for software engineers and ten are in consultancy roles.
And up to 70 jobs are being created at ON Semiconductor in Limerick as the firm plans to invest €13m in its design centre.
The research and development positions are to work on a project to provide more power-efficient solutions for use in computing and consumer applications.
