Mission Possible: Digital Media Institute hosts conference

THE Digital Marketing Institute (DMI) will hold a conference on the opportunities and challenges presented by the rise in mobile computing next month in Dublin.

“Mission Possible – Everything is Possible on Mobile” as the event is titled, will explore all the different ways that mobiles are changing the marketing sector.

Independent.ie is the media partner of the event.

The conference will be held in the Lighthouse Cinema on February 7. According to the organisers, the event “will include a mix of presentations and practical mobile case studies, with thought leaders discussing the opportunities and challenges mobile marketing presents”.

DMI chief executive Ian Dodson commented: “With mobile engagement growing at an exponential rate our conference will share insights on how to take advantage of this great opportunity and maximise the return on investment from your mobile marketing spend.”

Among the speakers will be well known online entrepreneur Dylan Collins, and Peter McEvoy, who heads up Google’s small business unit for Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Speakers from Paypal, Twitter and DoneDeal will also be taking part in what plans to be a very insightful day of talks, thoughts and trends.

‘Mission Possible’ takes place from 8.30am to 4.30pm on February 7th 2013 and is open to Digital Marketing Institute members at a cost of €195 and non-members for a fee of €390.
