Minister to address IPAV's convention

Minister for Housing & Planning Willie Penrose TD will be the guest of honour at the annual convention of the Institute of Professional Auctioneers & Valuers (IPAV) which takes place in the Slieve Russell Hotel, Co Cavan on May 20 and 21.
This will be the first occasion the new Minister will directly address members of the auctioneering profession and they will be interested to hear his views on the way forward for the property industry in the current recession.
Minister Penrose attends meetings of cabinet and an IPAV spokesman said he is in a key position to influence cabinet thinking.
He will be working on future Government policy in association with the Minister for the Environment, Heritage & Local Government Phil Hogan TD who is an honorary member of IPAV.
