Looking for your Happy Pear health kick?

The authors of last year's Irish Cookbook of the Year, brothers David and Stephen Flynn, are to open their first café and food shop in Dublin.

The new Happy Pear store at the Round Tower Centre in Clondalkin will become the company's flagship operation.

The premises will open this summer and will include a terraced dining area, a public garden, as well as an exhibition and gallery space.

"We're really looking forward to making healthy food even more accessible in South Dublin County and to making a positive impact on the local community and economy, by providing exciting new employment opportunities," the Flynns said in a statement.

"This is a very exciting move for our business," they added.

The brothers are currently working on their third cookbook.

It is scheduled to be released sometime next year.
