Jordan enjoys life out of fast lane with new €30m yacht
Former F1 boss Eddie Jordan is taking delivery of his new Sunseeker luxury yacht later this month.
The 155ft yacht is the largest ever built by Sunseeker and won't leave much change out of €30m.
The staggering thing about this yacht is that it's the "eighth or ninth" floating palace ordered by Jordan in recent years, Sunseeker boss Stewart McIntyre said last week.
Jordan sold one of his earlier yachts, the 121ft 'Snapper', to Radio DJ Chris Evans for around €6.2m two years ago. While the former Bank of Ireland official may have got a few bob from those excruciating Eircom ads last year, the bulk of his fortune came from selling his F1 team in 2005.
He's also filled his boots out of investments in Norkom, which was sold for €217m as well as Mayfair hedge fund Clareville capital, where he serves as a board member.
Clareville's flagship Pegasus fund had a barnstorming year, with latest figures showing it up over 41 per cent.
