Over half of business students have identified 'job security' as one of their top career goals, a strong rise on the year before.
According to the 'Talent in Banking' study for 2015, released yesterday by Deloitte, 50.2pc of Irish business students singled out job security as one of their key career goals, up from 46pc. The research was carried out to assess how the banking industry is faring in terms of attracting business graduates.
The survey found that the tech sector dominates the top five most popular employers - Google, Apple, Facebook, Disney and Coca-Cola.
It also found expectations surrounding starting salaries have risen sharply among all business students, from €36,740 in 2014 to €39,537 in 2015.
