Irish airline activity soared by 3pc in March
Airline activity in Ireland rose by 3pc last month compared to a year previously.
Figures from the Irish Aviation Authority(IAA) show that 88,202 flights passed through Irish airspace in the third month of the year.
There were 38,768 flights to and from Europe and North America, which represented a rise of 5.6pc on the previous year.
Traffic at Dublin Airport rose by 2.9pc, with an average of 534 commercial daily movements. Commercial flights in Shannon were up by 2.8pc with an average of 46 daily flights, but Cork dropped by 6.2pc.
