INM boss Fallon leaves company after 16 years
Ivan Fallon is to leave Independent News & Media (INM) after 16 years with the company.
He has been chief executive of INM UK with responsibility for the London 'Independent' titles, the 'Belfast Telegraph' and various other interests, for the past eight years. Before that, he was CEO of INM in South Africa, the biggest newspaper publisher in the country with 15 titles.
Fallon joined INM in 1994 from 'The Sunday Times' where he was both deputy editor and business editor. Before that he was city editor of 'The Sunday Telegraph' and had a long and distinguished career as a financial journalist, twice being named as Financial Journalist of the Year.
INM chief executive Gavin O'Reilly praised Mr Fallon for his "huge contribution" to INM and wished him success with his future interests.
