Iconic fashion store Aeropostale is opening in Dublin's Liffey Valley shopping centre today.

The chain is a speciality retailer of casual apparel and accessories, principally targeting 14 to 17 year-olds.

It's the company's first store in Western Europe.

The move was sparked by a partnership between Aeropostale and Shuz 4 U International - part of the group behind Skechers stores here.

"By partnering with such a strong and established licensee, we are confident that the recognition and popularity of the Aeropostale brand will continue to grow across Europe," Aeropostale boss Julian R. Geiger said.
