Iceland expanding in Ireland

At the opening of the new Iceland store in Coolock, Dublin were Nigel Broadhurst, buying director Iceland UK and Tom Keogh, chief executive of the AIM Group, owners of the master franchise of Iceland in Ireland.

The group is to invest €3m into the expansion of the chain and a new store will open at the Showgrounds Shopping Centre, Clonmel, tomorrow.

A Co Meath store will open at The Town Centre in Ashbourne on November 17 and its Carlow Town store will open on the Tullow Road on November 24.

Further openings will be announced in the first quarter of 2012.
