Hurling legend's firm in court row
A construction company owned by Galway hurling legend Padraic Connolly is facing a winding up petition after a dispute over an alleged €168,000 debt escalated.
The petition against Congil Construction is listed for hearing in the High Court on Monday and is being brought by Galway firm Thomas Fahy Electrical.
Documents lodged with the court show Thomas Fahy Electrical is claiming it's owed €168,000 for "material supplied and services rendered" to Congil within the last six years. Congil's lawyers said it "disputed the alleged debt".
