Grossed out: Spacey's €34 film flop

OSCAR winner Kevin Spacey starred in Ireland's worst grossing new film release this year. Shrink, the story of a Los Angeles celebrity shrink turned pothead made only €34 at the box office, figures from Rentrak EDI show.
Pop songstrel Janet Jackson starred in Why Did I get Married Too?, which grossed $60m (€45m) in US cinemas but took only €1,333 here.
At the other end of the scale, Toy Story III made the most in 2010, taking €7.5m. Avatar came a close second, grossing more than €7.3m.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I made €3.5m on opening here last month, but our film industry insider tells us it was the lowest grossing of any of the Harry Potter films in Ireland.
