Government delegation in Paris to meet OECD
A GOVERNMENT delegation, led by An Taoiseach Enda Kenny and Tanaiste Eamon Gilmore, is in Paris today for a meeting with international economic and social policy organisation the OECD.
The delegation of six cabinet members is the biggest ever to visit the OECD.
It is understood the visit is likely to be dominated by a focus on the Government's employment strategy and Ireland's low corporation tax rate of 12.5pc is also likely to feature.
The visit is also seen as part of the Government's plan to restore Ireland's reputation worldwide following the bailout.
