The Irish Planning Institute (IPI) – the professional body representing planners in Ireland – is holding a free seminar in order to demystify the planning process for the general public.
Titled 'Introducing Your Planning System', the seminar, which takes place on Tuesday, December 11, will be open to all who wish to learn more about how the Irish planning system works and the opportunities for public participation that exist.
IPI president Joanna Kelly (pictured) said: "This is an excellent opportunity for the public to learn how they can actively engage in the planning process particularly at development plan stage."
Presented by professional planners, the seminar will also discuss planning permission and development management.
The seminar will take place in the offices of the Irish Planning Institute, 25 Great Strand Street, Dublin 1. The event is free but booking is essential through email@example.com or on 01 878 8630.
