FORMER Taoiseach Bertie Ahern is in Iran this week and his engagements will include a speech on European co-operation.

Ahern, who resigned as Taoiseach in 2008, is heading up a business delegation and was welcomed by Iranian Deputy Labour Minister for International Affairs Mohammad Taqi Hosseini.
