Former Central Bank director Fiona Muldoon appointed to Bank of Ireland board

High-profile former Central Bank director Fiona Muldoon has been appointed to the Board of Directors at Bank of Ireland.
The Group Finance Director of FBD previously acted as director of credit institutions and insurance supervision with the Central Bank.
Ms Muldoon joined the Central Bank of Ireland from Canada Life where she held the position of Chief Financial Officer.
She also spent 17 years of her career with XL Group in Dublin, London and Bermuda, where she worked in senior financial and general management positions.
Governor of Bank of Ireland Archie Kane said he welcomed the appointment.
"Fiona comes to Bank of Ireland with very considerable experience in the financial sector, and I look forward to her contribution to the work of the Board at what is an important time for the Bank of Ireland Group,” he said.
