Intercall in Cork and its sister company Tangerine Management in Killarney have already begun recruiting for the new positions which it hopes to have filled over the next 12 months.

The jobs announced are in the companies' three core areas including sales, customer service support and management.

Managing director Niall Kelleher said the expansion was an indication of the growth both companies had experienced over the past number of years.

The Cork jobs will be based at Dosco Industrial Estate on the South Douglas Road and at the Cork Airport Business Park and when filled will increase the Intercall's operations in Cork by one third.

The expansion of Tangerine Management's operations in Killarney will double the number of staff.

Intercall and Tangerine Management provide telemarketing, customer services, customer care and order processing to a wide range of clients including Vodafone, Dunnes Stores, QSat, PrePayPower, AES (Bord Na Móna) and Greyhound Recycling.

In the next year the companies hope to have expanded their workforce to over 170 staff across the three locations.

"To facilitate the growth of the company over this period, we expect to spend approximately €250,000 as part of the process, the majority of which will be on capital expenditure,” Mr Kelleher added.

Applications are invited and can be made by email to hr@intercall.ie
