Up to 250 jobs could be lost at a Dublin-based technology firm.
Pocket Kings, which offers IT and marketing support to online poker giant Full Tilt Poker, employs 700 people at its Cherrywood, Dublin base.
But it said today it will use redundancies to reduce its costs by about €12m.
Earlier this year, US authorities closed down access to Full Tilt Poker's website in the United States and charged its boss Raymond Bitar with illegal gambling, money laundering and fraud.
While online gambling is a fast growing market worth billions of euro, it is illegal in the US.
