IN an article published on Sunday, September 16, concerning an audit commissioned by FAS in 2010 on inappropriate images, we stated that almost 4 per cent of all reported content in FAS mailboxes was classified as "highly inappropriate".
FAS has asked us to point out that the "highly inappropriate" content level of 3.62 per cent represented just 0.71 per cent of scanned mailboxes and that, therefore, the vast majority of FAS employees were not involved in any way in the activities of the small minority who indulged in these practices.
FAS also says measures have been taken to ensure full compliance with strict email policies which are in place.
