The retailer, which sells suites, bedding and dining ranges, is taking a 2,415sqm retail warehousing unit which enjoys a high profile position immediately adjacent to the Waterford City Bypass and the N25, a busy thoroughfare linking the city centre with the densely populated suburbs.

Agent John Rohan of Sherry FitzGerald says rents in the retail park are around €15 per sq ft or €161 per sqm.

The park is anchored by Harvey Norman, B&Q, Halfords and Home Focus, which open seven days a week.

Such well-known names, convenient location and ease of parking make it a popular shopping destination for neighbouring counties.

EZ Living is investing €500,000 in refitting the unit which Rohan says is a sign of confidence in Waterford.
