An ex-Fine Gael councillor jailed for pocketing bribes of €80,000 from a millionaire property developer has announced the creation of up to 15 jobs in Waterford.
Fred Forsey Jnr (46) was found guilty of six counts of corruption in 2012 for accepting money in exchange for influencing the rezoning of land.
The Dungarvan man was accused of accepting three payments from developer and horse breeder Michael Ryan (62) in 2006.
Mr Ryan, who claimed the money was a loan, was cleared of all charges.
In a new venture, Forsey has launched two new beauty brands in the south east - Skincode and Hashtag Secrets.
He takes the helm of Swiss company, Skincode as CEO of the brand's Irish interests.
The other company, Hashtag Secrets, is a beauty and hair salon registered to an address in Dungarvan.
Forsey's partner Karen Morrissey (29) is listed as the second director of the company. In 2011 Forsey and his partner set up now-defunct firm, Big Bro Software Limited, which aimed to supply tracking units for cars.
On the Skincode Ireland website, Forsey said he was "very pleased" to announce the new jobs.
