Two of the biggest property investors in the boom years, have seen their children put luxury homes on the market.

Menolly Homes' Seamus Ross, once the most prominent homebuilder in the country, is now one of the biggest Nama clients.

His son Seamus Ross (Jr) is seeking to offload his luxury Ballsbridge pad with a price tag of €6.5m. The house was once valued at close to €12m. The house was bought for around €5m in 2004. Sherry FitzGerald is acting as the agent. The ivy-clad four bedroom home has an indoor swimming pool with a wave machine and a gym.

Meanwhile, in Sandymount, Derek Quinlan's daughter has put her Park Lane house on the market for €1.95m, five years after paying €9.5m for the Edwardian semi.
