Former Anglo Irish Bank boss David Drumm is set to agree to return to Ireland at a court hearing in Boston today.
Mr Drumm is expected to tell the court he will no longer dispute an extradition request by the Irish authorities.
The State is seeking his return to face 33 charges relating to his time as chief of Anglo.
RTE News reported a Drumm family member as saying Mr Drumm was anxious to return here and seek to prove his innocence.
