Riverdance zillionaire Moya Doherty and Grafton Group's Michael Chadwick are part of a group selling off a €23m Jurys Inn hotel near Dublin's Parnell Square.

Registry of Deeds documents show that Doherty and Chadwick are among the owners of the building, alongside a number of well-known solicitors and investors.

The hotel building was developed in 2006 by Garret Kelleher's Shelbourne Developments before being sold to a Davy Private clients consortium for around €40m. The price was boosted by the tax reliefs available to the investors.

Doherty and her husband John McColgan were major property investors over the last decade buying landmark residences in Manhattan and at the exclusive Martha's vineyard resort. They were investors in the Derek Quinlan-fronted Savoy Hotel deal.

Doherty and McColgan are reckoned to have made more than €75m from various Riverdance tours, which kicked off in 1994.
