CRH about to join FTSE 100 Index
CRH, the Irish building materials group, is set to join London's FTSE 100 index on Monday week.
It will join along with the recently listed Russian steelmaker Evraz and the Russian precious metals miner Polymetal International.
To make room for the three new entrants, satellites operator Inmarsat, South Africa-based investment bank Investec and platinum miner Lonmin will be demoted to the FTSE 250.
CRH also continues to be listed on the ISEQ index, the MSCI Euro indices and the EuroStoxx indices.
The quarterly review used the closing prices from Tuesday this week, with the changes confirmed by a FTSE committee yesterday.
Listing decisions are made after a review every three months, and are based on market capitalisation.
