COSGRAVE Property Group has attracted three new retailers to its Westend Shopping Park in Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 which is now fully let.
David Jones has taken the former Jean Scene unit and will open a new concept men’s store called Cheval Noir – Mr Jones’ second store at the retail park. He will soon open a store on O’Connell St, Dublin.
David Jones together with John Smith are the co-owners of Bests Menswear and have a number of Tommy Hilfiger and Promod franchises around Ireland.
Dress 4 Less recently opened up in the former Lady Bird unit. Toys ‘R’ Us are the third retailer to open in Westend in recent times.
Rents at the park peaked at over €538 per sqm in 2008. Bernadine Hogan of lettings agents Savills says rents have reduced slightly since then but remain quite strong. Colliers International acted for Dress 4 Less and Toys ‘R’ Us.
