Connacht rugby stars shoot and score
WITH Ireland's rugby team continuing to impress at the Rugby World Cup, Connacht rugby stars Ronan Loughney and Conor O'Loughlin have taken the entrepreneurial leap from the rugby pitch to business.
The rugby duo have set up their own company, Photobooth Occasions -- a portable photobooth available to rent for parties, weddings and corporate events.
The vintage-style photobooth comes complete with digital technology and props -- wigs, hats and glasses. The idea came from Ronan while planning his brother's wedding last year.
Ronan loved the concept of a photobooth to amuse guests and take fun photos of the night, but the lack of variety in the market prompted him to build his own photobooth for the wedding.
He contacted his close friend, retired Connacht rugby player Conor O'Loughlin, to help out with the technology side of the project and Ronan used his woodwork skills to create a period-style photobooth that looks stylish yet practical.
Conor has installed the best technology in the booth to ensure an immediate print-out.
"Entering the business world is a big step and we were slightly nervous launching Photobooth Occasions but it's been a huge hit with all partygoers," Conor said.
