DELL Ireland is creating 300 new banking jobs - as it moves to provide finance for business customers who are buying its products.
The computer giant is creating a "Dell Bank" in Dublin, having already been awarded a banking licence by the Central Bank of Ireland.
It is hiring 200 new employees immediately and is going to hire another 100 over the next three years.
Dell currently employs 1,200 people in Dublin, 1,100 in Limerick and 200 in Cork.
The new jobs will bring its total workforce here to 2,800.
