Comeback a runaway success for The Corrs
The Corrs have started to enjoy the fruits of their 2015 comeback with the cash pile at their music firm climbing to more than €310,000.
The Grammy-nominated siblings, one of Ireland's most successful acts ever, released their first studio album in a decade, 'White Light' at the end of 2015.
To celebrate their return, they played to a sold out 3Arena gig in January of last year as part of a world tour.
Figures from trade industry journal, Pollstar show that the box office from the Dublin gig alone totalled €358,475.
Now, new accounts filed by the band's entertainment company, Coppice Ltd, show its cash pile increased from €282,524 to €311,913 in the 12 months to the end of 2015. The amount owed by debtors also increased from €18,757 to €156,481.
The firm's accumulated profits during 2015 increased marginally going from €174,033 to €175,890.
The Corr siblings - Andrea, Sharon, Caroline and Jim - have released six studio albums in all.
