Broadcaster soundings positive for the Greens

Some interesting insights into the mood on the ground in radioland at this week's Independent Broadcasters of Ireland (IBI) shindig.
Asked about their industry's 2010 prospects, 49pc of the assembled radio executives and owners said they expected revenue growth, while 42pc expected "no change" and just 9pc foresee falls.
A sideline poll also revealed the extraordinary feat Eamon Ryan's term as Minister for Communications appears to have accomplished for his party following.
Some 14pc of radio's top brains say they'd vote Green in the next general election, well higher than the 5pc vote won by the Greens in the most recent national poll.
