DRINKS company Britvic was hit by more woe in Ireland yesterday after it revealed another drop in revenue here.

In a trading statement for the third quarter of its year, Britvic said revenue in Ireland was down 15.3pc during the last three months amid what it called "tough macro-economic conditions, the poor weather in Ireland and a strong prior year comparative (when revenues had increased 8.6pc year on year)".

Revenue in Ireland is now down 10.8pc on the year. Britvic closed down 1.12pc in London yesterday.
