Brian O'Driscoll joins New York-based Teneo as sports adviser
Rugby giant Brian O'Driscoll has joined Teneo - the New York-based advisory firm headed by Declan Kelly.
He joins the sports division of the firm which includes advisers like former British foreign secretary William Hague and Senator George Mitchell.
Teneo's sports business is headed by a former Nike brand president Charlie Denson, according to reports in the Irish Times.
The ex Ireland rugby captain's will work mainly with Teneo's London-based sports business Blue Rubicon.
Teneo's sports business is currently advising Fifa's restructuring and the Los Angeles bid for the 2024 Summer Olympics.
Kelly is the older brother of Labour TD Alan.
Prior to co-founding Teneo, the PR guru served as the US Economic Envoy to Northern Ireland at the US Department of State.
He was appointed to that role by US presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton.
