Bowery night club on the market for €1.2m

The Bowery, a night club, bar and restaurant in Waterford City Centre, is for sale by private treaty at an asking price of €1.2m.
This is a substantial reduction on the €4m which was sought for the property when it was sold in 2007, although that sale included a small adjoining property.
John Rohan, of agents Sherry FitzGerald John Rohan, says that a feature of the bar area is the preserved medieval stonework of the old city walls, where the 'sally-ports', used by the Viking founders of Waterford to launch their longboats, have been adapted as intimate 'snugs'.
Situated in the shadow of the iconic Reginald's Tower bordering the quays and the Mall, the ground floor extends to 450sqm and comprises a night-club area, lounge, bars and a restaurant.
