Big freeze keeps ad men on their toes

FURTHERING advertising's long legacy of opportunism, the chaps at Neutrogena were quick off the mark with their ice-themed ads last weekend.
Playing on the freak weather, the Norwegian cosmetics company encouraged customers to "rescue" their hands from "the big chill".
Developed by Johnson & Johnson media planning team, Vizeum and creative agency Ownes DDB, the campaign ran across the Sunday papers, as well as the Irish Examiner.
