Ash cloud solution offered for Irish exporters

Amid the volcanic as cloud crisis Irish freight company Twoway says it is providing Irish exporters with a solution to deal with the disruptions to air freight transport.
Although Irish and British airspace has been re-opened today, resumption of full air service is on a phased basis, and is at the mercy of any new volcanic activity.
Twoway is offering Irish businesses an express door-to-door alternative to companies who are experiencing immediate difficulty as a result of the disruptions to the air freight market.
Using its European and International road freight network, Twoway says it can deliver to or collect from any location.
Tommy Kelly, Aramex CEO Europe, commented: "In the current uncertain environment, companies are availing of an alternative to air freight to ensure their business continues to operate in these challenging times."
Mr Kelly also said his company will be assisting companies with any back-log or other difficulties they may have experienced as a result of the air-shutdown.
The initiative undertaken by Twoway has the support of The Irish Exporters Association and IBEC.
