An appeal to An Bord Pleanála against plans by US-based Irish billionaire businessman Pearse Lyons to build a €5m distillery and visitor centre in Dublin has been withdrawn.
Before Christmas, an appeal was lodged against the plans by local resident John Lawlor. Dublin City Council had granted permission for the development.
The distillery and visitor centre is to be located at St James's Church.
Mr Lyons is the founder of global animal health and nutrition company Alltech, and his grandfather is buried on the grounds of the church.
