Law firm A&L Goodbody has appointed five new partners and 25 new associates in Dublin, Belfast and the US, with a renewed push into the commercial property sector.

The latest appointments will take the total number of partners at the firm to 87.

The partners are Paul Diggin, in property in Dublin; Micaela Diver, in litigation, Belfast; Amelia O'Beirne, tax, New York; Tracey Schofield, property, Belfast; and John Williams, property, Dublin.

"The appointment of five new partners and 25 associates reflects the success and growth of the firm over the last 12 months and the confidence we have that this will continue in the future," said A&L Goodbody managing partner Julian Yarr.

"It's also a measure of the great people we have across our practice groups and in all our international office locations. As well as technical expertise, we continuously strive to provide our clients with fresh thinking and a savvy business sense. The new partners and associates certainly fit the bill."
