€1.6m will seal deal on two Dundalk pubs

Two Dundalk pubs which were brought to the market earlier this year with price tags of around €1m each are now expected to sell in separate deals for a combined price of €1.6m.
Gunne Property Commercial confirmed that it has received offers for the "Avenue Inn the strongest of which is for €700,000. "
The agent is also marketing the Malthouse bar and restaurant and both have potential for off licence businesses. April 8 is the closing date for offers.
Meanwhile in the south-east McLoughlin's pub on O'Connell Street in Waterford City is for sale with an asking price of €480,000.
Agents Sherry Fitzgerald John Rohan point out that the traditional style residential pub is close to the city centre's main tourist and car parking areas and nearby occupiers include Bord Failte, Garter Lane Arts Centre, Post Office,Bus Eireann.
