THE Dublin office of Yahoo, the internet company, is considering creating over 100 new jobs in the coming year.
The company which is based in East Point, Dublin 3, did not respond to requests for comment.
In 2010, it took 3,700 sq m of office space in Dublin so it has substantial potential for expansion if it proceeds.
Yahoo currently employs more than 200 people in the capital. The $23bn-valued internet search company has struggled to keep up with Google. Recently it hired top Google executive Marissa Meyer as its new boss.
Meanwhile, Bloomberg said last Friday that Susquehanna International Group was considering doubling the size of its European headquarters in Dublin. Susquehanna already has more than 200 workers in Ireland but it is looking at relocating to a much larger property. Susquehanna declined to comment.
