Wicklow parcel for €310,000

A 40.5ac non-residential roadside farm with an extensive modern shed and yard located not far from Tinahely, Co Wicklow is coming to market by private treaty with a guide price of €310,000.

Located at Shielstown, Knockananna, Arklow, the farm is 12km from Aughrim and Tinahely. According to Alan Kinsella of Kinsella Estates the piece of ground was drained, reseeded and well kept by the current owner. It comes with payments of €2,188 for 2017.

The holding is laid out in one block of permanent pasture with the exception of about 4ac, which is in need of reclamation. The lands are well fenced and divided into seven divisions.

The farm is served by two water supplies, a fresh water supply from a local stream and a private well. It also has road frontage of about 300m on to the local road.

The yard includes a modern shed built to grant specification and measuring 64ft x 60ft. It is suitable for a range of farming purposes including housing for sheep or cattle, or possibly for fodder and machinery storage. There is also a concrete holding area measuring 44ft x 42ft.

Alan Kinsella is also handling the private treaty sale of a 4.6ac field at Ballinglen, Tinahely guided at between €50,000 and €60,000.

Located 1.5km from Ballinglen and 5.8km from Tinahely, the land is currently in a field of grass and has extensive frontage to a local road and frontage on to a local river.

The farm is priced at agricultural values and Mr Kinsella expects most of the interest to come from farmers.
