Located within 1km of Aughrim, the farm has extensive frontage on to two roads. The land is in one large block of permanent pasture and in good heart with the exception of a 15ac portion that is in need of reclamation.

The ground is described by Alan Kinsella of Kinsella Estates as top quality, free draining and suitable for most farming types.

Set in an old-style yard with a range of old farm buildings in need of repair, the farmhouse is in need of complete restoration.

The property was initially offered in lots with 36ac of land bid to €300,000, a portion extending to 29ac including the poorer ground was making €150,000, while the farmhouse and outbuildings on 3ac was bid to €65,000 before all were held as attention turned to the entire.

With a total of €495,000 on board Alan Kinsella put the entire to the floor and it opened at €510,000.

With three bidders in the chase the farm was withdrawn at €615,000 and sold afterwards to the highest bidder for over €620,000.
