Westmeath farm on Lough Lene is a snip at ¤5k/ac

Overlooking Lough Lene, a 49ac farm at Windtown is just one mile from the village of Fore, Co Westmeath.

The land is divided into two categories: 40ac of good quality agricultural land and a further nine acres of hilly ground with whin bushes.

"That part of the land is suitable for grazing cattle or sheep but would not be suitable for machinery use," said joint agent Padraig Smith, referring to the latter.

The farm is laid out in two divisions and has cattle handling facilities but no buildings. It is connected to the group water scheme.
