As the summer gets going, bigger parcels of land are making an appearance on the market.

Among these is a 140ac non-residential farm with a yard and cattle handling facilities at Newtown Ballymore, Co Westmeath.

The property comes to market and will be sold by tender with a guide price of €850,000 or just over €6,000/ac.

The farm is located 8km from Ballymahon, 25km from Mullingar and 2km from Ballymore.

Auctioneer Paddy Jordan says the farm is laid out in three main divisions with extensive road frontage on to two roads.

He describes it as a mainly dry farm, with up to 5ac of low-lying land. The yard includes a slatted unit, two silage pits and a number of holding pens.

The property will be sold in its entirety and the closing time and date for the receipt of tenders is 12 noon on Thursday, June 28.
