A large west Cork dairy farm stretching to 200ac with full dairy facilities and cattle accommodation is on the long-term letting market in its entirety or in three lots.
Located at Carriganima, Macroom, the property is in three sections with one part including the buildings and 105ac of top-class ground.
A section of around 35ac of very good reclaimed mountain grazing makes up the second portion, while 60ac of mountain land which is designated a special protection area for hen harriers comprises the third parcel.
According to Gerry O'Sullivan of CCM Marts, Macroom, the 105ac with the buildings should command €250/ac.
He said the 35ac of reclaimed grazing ground is expected to fetch €200/ac, with the 60pc of mountain likely to get over €100/ac.
"Ideally we would like to let the farm to a single tenant," said Mr O'Sullivan.
"In that case we would be looking at an average of €200/ac for the 200ac on a longer lease, if that can be worked out."
"It carried 90 cows and their replacements along with sheep. It also provided fodder for all the stock.
