Top quality 68ac land holding close to Maynooth looks like a great investment

North Kildare land always draws good custom and a 68ac holding located at Hodgestown, Rathcoffey, between Maynooth and Clane, will certainly be of interest.

It comes with a guide price in the region of €6,000-7,000/ac.

The land is described as top quality ground suitable for tillage or grazing and has the benefit of extensive road frontage.

The property is all in one block and well fenced and, according to Maynooth auctioneer, Willie Coonan, it has been let for a number of years and could benefit from what he describes as "a bit of husbandry."

While road frontage in other parts of the country is an indication of development and site potential, in tillage country it means direct and multiple points of access for machinery and adds to the value of agricultural land.

This piece of land is very well located only two miles from Clane, six miles from Maynooth, four miles from the M4 and 22 miles from Dublin. Mr Coonan believes that the property offers an excellent investment opportunity given its quality and its location.

The land will be sold at auction at the Glenroyal Hotel, Maynooth, at 3pm this day next week, November 29.
